MUSCAT : The closure, undertaken in cooperation with the Public Prosecution, follows repeated complaints from consumers alleging that the establishment failed to provide agreed-upon services and did not refund amounts paid in advance.
According to the authority, the service provider is accused of breaching contractual obligations and violating provisions of the Consumer Protection Law issued under Royal Decree No. 66/2014 and its Executive Regulations.
The CPA said the establishment will remain closed until legal proceedings and related cases filed against it are concluded.
