MUSCAT : Following the strong response to its instant personal loan service launched earlier through Mobile Banking, and the growing demand for fast convenient and flexible digital loan solutions, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, has announced a limited time offer on its Instant Digital Loan service through the Mobile Banking app. Under the offer eligible customers can benefit from competitive loan rates starting from 4%, making it easier than ever to access fast, convenient and fully digital solutions.
The offer provides customers with greater flexibility to select loan tenures that best suits their financial needs while benefiting from competitive rates through a seamless application process.
Bank Muscat previously introduced the instant digital loan service through its Mobile Banking application as part of its ongoing efforts to lead digital transformation in Oman’s banking sector. The service allows government employees to apply for personal loan and complete the entire process electronically within minutes, without the need to visit a branch or submit physical documents. Once approved, the loan amount is credited directly to the customer’s account.

The service delivers a seamless and fully digital banking experience. The system instantly verifies the customer’s credit eligibility and enables the application process to be completed electronically using a one-time password (OTP). Financing documents and the repayment schedule are also made available digitally through the application, further enhancing the speed, convenience and efficiency of banking transactions.
Customers interested in using the service can log in to the Mobile Banking application and navigate to Requests > Loans > Instant Personal Loan Application, then follow the on-screen instructions.
