MUSCAT – Financial Services Authority has announced a new milestone in the country’s health insurance digital transformation journey, with the Dhamani platform beginning the electronic linkage of pharmacies to strengthen integration among all stakeholders in the insurance ecosystem.
According to the authority, 271 pharmacies have been registered on the platform, with 60% already electronically connected, marking significant progress in the digitisation of health insurance services.
The initiative has also resulted in a 98 percent reduction in paper-based procedures, streamlining operations and improving efficiency across the sector.
The FSA said the move is designed to enhance transparency, accelerate transaction processing, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
