MUSCAT : Preliminary data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated that the average price of oil decreased by 15.4 percent to reach US$64.2 per barrel until the end of April 2026, compared to US$75.9 per barrel during the same period in 2025.
The data also showed a rise in oil production, with Oman’s average daily output increasing by 7.5 percent to 1,060,700 barrels per day, compared to 986,700 barrels per day in the same period last year.
Total oil production in the Sultanate of Oman also rose by 7.5 percent, reaching 127.31 million barrels by the end of April 2026, compared to 118.40 million barrels in the same period of 2025.
