Muscat: According to Invest Oman and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Oman’s top global ranking reflects the country’s continued progress in developing an efficient, integrated, and investor-friendly logistics ecosystem.

The recognition in the 2025 Logistics Performance Index reinforces Oman’s strategic position at the crossroads of international trade routes, supported by advanced ports, airports, free zones, and transport networks that facilitate the seamless movement of goods across regional and global markets.

Officials attributed the achievement to several key factors, including the implementation of smart logistics solutions that accelerate global trade, the availability of strategic gateways offering flexible cargo and supply chain services, and a stable business environment that supports sustainable investment growth.

The ranking also highlights the effectiveness of Oman’s long-term economic diversification efforts under Oman Vision 2040, which places logistics among the priority sectors driving economic growth and attracting foreign investment.
