MUSCAT : In a statement issued on June 2, 2026, the Authority said reports showing temperatures higher than those officially recorded and published by Oman Meteorology are inaccurate.
The clarification comes amid a noticeable rise in temperatures across parts of the Sultanate, prompting increased public interest in weather conditions and forecasts.
The CAA urged the public to rely exclusively on official sources for weather-related information and to avoid sharing unverified reports or rumours. It stressed that accurate temperature data and weather updates are published through the official digital communication platforms of the Oman Meteorology department.
