MUSCAT – The authority has categorised the intensity of the upcoming dust storm as ‘moderate’, and highlighted the primary areas expected to be affected by the weather system. These include open plains and desert areas across interior parts of the country, stretching between Muscat and Duqm.
The authority noted that weather alerts and warnings can be accessed through the warnings section on the Oman Meteorology website and its experimental mobile application, allowing users to monitor potential weather developments and receive timely updates.
