MUSCAT : Police in South Al Batinah Governorate have arrested an Arab expatriate accused of stealing a vehicle belonging to an Omani citizen in the Wilayat of Rustaq.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the incident occurred after the vehicle owner stopped following a traffic accident. The suspect allegedly offered assistance to the motorist before taking possession of the vehicle and driving away.
Police said the accused fled with the vehicle to the Wilayat of Al Musannah, where he was subsequently apprehended by authorities.

The Royal Oman Police confirmed that legal procedures are being completed against the suspect.
