Oman Airports signs strategic partnership with Singapore’s Changi Airport

MUSCAT – This agreement is part of Oman Airports’ ongoing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Muscat International Airport and strengthen its position as a leading aviation gateway in the region.

The partnership with Singapore reflects Oman Airports’ commitment to adopting global best practices and leveraging the international expertise of Changi Airports International to improve operational efficiency, diversify revenue streams, and create added value across airport operations.

The agreement also underscores a shared commitment to supporting sustainable initiatives and exploring new opportunities that contribute to value creation for the Sultanate of Oman and the wider region.

During the signing ceremony held in Singapore, Nasser bin Ahmed Al Sharji, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Airports, said the collaboration with Changi Airport will facilitate the exchange of best practices and enhance all stages of the passenger journey.

He noted that continuous improvement of passenger experience remains a core pillar in achieving operational excellence and long-term sustainability in the aviation sector.

For his part, Eugene Gan, Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airports International, said the partnership is expected to deliver strong outcomes for Muscat International Airport and further strengthen its performance.
