MUSCAT : Lulu Oman proudly launched its much-anticipated annual ‘Mango Mania festival, a vibrant celebration of the sweetness, richness, and diversity of the “King of Fruits.” The event was inaugurated at Lulu Baushar by H.E. Lulu is also one of the largest sources and sellers of fresh local Omani produce in the country, continuously supporting local farmers and bringing customers the freshest seasonal selections.

Beyond fresh fruit, the festival highlights mango’s culinary versatility with special treats across Lulu’s hot food, bakery, sweets, and pickles sections. Visitors can indulge in mango preserves, smoothies, juices, pulps, jellies, jams, and traditional pickled mangoes — all crafted to celebrate the fruit’s irresistible charm.
Speaking at the launch, the Ambassador remarked: “This is the second year that I am participating in Lulu’s Mango Mania Festival, a festival that brings together more than 50 varieties of mangoes from India, along with an equally large number of mango varieties from the rest of the world. Altogether, it is practically like the whole world coming together to celebrate this wonderful gift from Mother Nature the mango, which we also call the ‘king of fruits’.”
“If someone does not know how mangoes can be enjoyed beyond being eaten as a fruit, pulp, or juice, they only need to come to Lulu to discover the many varieties of dishes — from spicy foods to sweet dishes, cakes, and pastries. Mango is yet another reason to come to Lulu and explore the wide variety of products they offer here.” he added.
Mr. Shabeer K.A, Director of Lulu Hypermarkets – Oman stated: “At Lulu, Mango Mania is more than a seasonal celebration – it reflects our continuous effort to enrich the shopping experience with innovative, themed promotions. Each year, we strive to surprise and delight our customers by bringing them closer to the richness, health benefits, and cultural significance of mangoes. This festival is part of our broader mission to create memorable experiences that go beyond shopping, offering our community fresh opportunities to explore, savor, and connect with global flavors.”, he added.
