MUSCAT : The directorate said the violations included drilling wells without obtaining the required permits and using unlicensed equipment for drilling operations, in breach of the Water Resources Law and its implementing regulations.
It further added that legal action will be taken against anyone found violating water resource regulations, reaffirming the government’s commitment to preserving groundwater reserves and ensuring the sustainable management of water resources.
