MUSCAT : Jebel View International School, in collaboration with Artemis Education, has marked a significant milestone with the official handover of its purpose-built campus, ahead of its scheduled opening this summer (August 2026).

The ceremony brought together key project partners and stakeholders to celebrate the successful completion and handover of the campus, reflecting a shared commitment to delivering a next-generation learning environment in Oman, focused on Omani students.

Located in The Knowledge Oasis of Muscat, Jebel View International School has been designed to offer a modern, spacious, future-focused educational experience, combining British academic excellence with a strong connection to Omani culture and values. The school aims to nurture internationally minded students within an inclusive and innovative environment that supports both academic achievement and personal development.

The event programme featured a curated walkthrough of the campus, including Early Years facilities, the Al-Araimi Technology Centre, Sports Hall, and Auditorium, offering guests a first look at the school’s carefully designed learning environment. This was followed by a presentation outlining the project’s journey from concept to completion, culminating in the official handover ceremony.

The handover ceremony represents a critical transition point in the development of Jebel View International School, marking the completion of the construction phase and the beginning of operational readiness ahead of the school’s opening. It reflects not only the successful delivery of a complex campus, but also a shared vision to create a high-quality educational environment that will serve future generations of Omani students in Muscat.

Among those in attendance were senior leaders from ONEIC, including Chief Executive Officer Dr. Rashid Al Ghailani, Chief Operating Officer Eng. Nawaf Al Balush alongside Eng. Jaffer Al Ajmi, Director at KOM, and representatives from EIDC, Madayan, Artemis Education and Jebel View International School. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort behind the delivery of the project and the strength of partnership across all entities involved.

Niall Brennan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Education, said:
This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional educational environments that are both globally relevant and locally meaningful. Jebel View International School represents an important step in our vision to expand high-quality education across the region, and we are proud to see this project come to life in Oman.”

Sheldon Smith, Founding Principal of Jebel View International School, added: “The handover of the campus marks an exciting moment as we move closer to welcoming our first students. At Jebel View, our focus is on creating a learning community where curiosity, ambition, and a strong sense of belonging come together to support every student’s journey. We look forward to opening our doors in August and beginning this journey with our founding families.”

Jebel View International School is set to open in August 2026, initially welcoming students across its Primary School, with plans for future expansion up to Grade 12, offering a full educational programme culminating in formal qualifications for university entrance.

As part of the Artemis Education family, the school brings a forward-thinking approach that blends academic rigour with innovation, wellbeing, and holistic development.
