MUSCAT : Teams from Indian School Bousher and United International Schools represented Oman at the international innovation festival focused on artificial intelligence, coding and robotics, competing against more than 77,000 students from over 70 countries.
The Indian School Bousher team participated in Track 1 and Track 3 categories, while the United International Schools team competed in Track 3, which focused on Robo Soccer challenges.
In Track 1, the Indian School Bousher team presented an innovation project titled “Desert Heat Health Guardian,” aimed at addressing heat-related health concerns using technology and AI-based solutions.

Following their performances, the Omani teams received Excellence Awards in recognition of their achievements at the global competition.
The Track 1 team from Indian School Bousher was led by robotics teacher Niveda Prem Kumar and included Grade 5 students Arundhati Arjun and Nishal Bhushan, alongside Grade 4 student Hamdan Faisal. The school’s Track 3 team was led by robotics teacher Indira Gandhi Alex and featured Grade 9 students Kaneez Aisha and Shaurya Shahi.
From United International Schools, Grade 6 student Ibrahim Masood and Grade 4 student Marwan Hamza represented Oman under the leadership of Fahim Ihsan, with mentorship support from Safna Mansoor, Nidhi Mehta and Ghadeer Al Yahyai.
The participating teams had earlier secured gold medals during the national-level Codeavour Oman competition, earning qualification to the international finals after competing against several schools across the Sultanate.
The annual Codeavour Oman competition is organised by United International Student Academy (UISA), which aims to position Oman as a growing regional hub for artificial intelligence, coding, robotics and student innovation.
Commenting on the achievement, Hamza Plummer, Executive Director of UISA, said the organisation plans to further expand the competition across Oman through regional and national qualifying rounds while creating greater international exposure opportunities for young innovators in the Sultanate.
