MUSCAT: The environmental initiative targeted the protection of marine biodiversity and the preservation of coral reef ecosystems along Sohar’s coastline.
In addition to the cleanup operation, specialists conducted a field survey of coral reefs and marine organisms in the area. The campaign also included monitoring the health and ecological balance indicators of the marine ecosystem to assess the condition of underwater biodiversity.
