New Delhi: The two-day exhibition, which began in the Indian capital on Saturday, features participation from businesses and investors from across the globe, offering a platform for Omani companies to explore expansion opportunities in India and neighboring markets.

The Omani delegation is headed by Engineer Hamoud bin Salem Al-Saadi, Second Vice-Chairman of the OCCI Board of Directors and Chairman of the Chamber’s Commercial Excellence Center Committee.

The participation aims to support Omani brands in establishing direct communication with investors, operators, and potential franchise partners, while also strengthening the presence of the Omani private sector in global markets. The delegation is also taking part in specialized workshops and programs focused on franchising and investment.

Speaking at the event, Engineer Hamoud Al-Saadi said the participation aligns with the Chamber’s strategic goals of improving the business environment and supporting economic diversification in line with Oman Vision 2040.

He noted that the exhibition offers a valuable opportunity to introduce Omani brands to international markets, explore franchise-based expansion, and benefit from global success stories and investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, Khalfan bin Saeed Al-Khatri, Assistant Director of the Marketing and Events Department at “Riyada” and member of the Chamber’s Franchise Center Committee, said the participation reflects the growing maturity of Oman’s franchise sector and the readiness of local brands to expand abroad.

He highlighted the Indian market as one of the world’s most diverse and promising markets, offering significant opportunities for Omani businesses seeking regional and international growth.

Al-Khatri added that international exhibitions play an important role in facilitating knowledge exchange and helping business owners stay updated on the latest trends and successful models in the franchise industry.

During the exhibition, Minister Plenipotentiary Tahira bint Hamoud Al-Zadjali, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in New Delhi, along with Minister Plenipotentiary Nawaf bin Abdullah Ba’Omar, visited the Omani pavilion and reviewed the participating brands.
