MUSCAT : Muscat Stock Exchange “30” Index closed today at 7,959.72 points, down 219 points, or 2.68 percent, compared to the previous trading session which closed at 8,178.76 points.
The total value of traded shares reached RO 51,727,770, representing an increase of 32.3 percent compared to the previous trading session, which recorded RO 39,083,554.
The report issued by Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that market capitalization decreased by 1.389 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately RO 37.38 billion.

The value of non-Omani purchases on the exchange amounted to RO 6,393,000, representing 12.36 percent of total trading. Meanwhile, the value of non-Omani sales reached RO 12,531,000, or 24.23 percent. Consequently, non-Omani net investment declined by RO 6,138,000, a decrease of 11.87 percent.
