MUSCAT – In a circular issued, the Royal Oman Police Directorate General of Customs said competent authorities are working to facilitate customs clearance procedures and ensure smoother movement of supplies into Oman.

The circular called on commercial and industrial establishments experiencing shipment delays to contact the relevant authorities based on the nature of the issue.

For challenges related to customs procedures, businesses were advised to coordinate with Dubai Customs through its dedicated email and 24-hour hotline.

Companies facing operational issues linked to Jebel Ali Port were instructed to contact customer service at DP World.

For other shipment-related challenges, the circular directed businesses to communicate directly with Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, while submitting shipment documents, details of delayed consignments, shipping company information and product data through a dedicated form accessible via QR code.
