MUSCAT : Oman News Agency reported on Thursday that Oman has reaffirmed its active role during regional crises in supporting the secure flow of food and fertilizer supplies and ensuring the continued movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report, Oman highlighted its efforts during a virtual meeting focused on food security and international cooperation, where discussions covered measures aimed at maintaining maritime navigation and protecting supply chains amid ongoing regional tensions.
The Sultanate said it remains committed to supporting international cooperation to safeguard global trade routes and ensure stable access to essential commodities, particularly through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategically important shipping lanes.
