MUSCAT : As part of its ongoing regulatory efforts, Madayn carried out an extensive field inspection campaign targeting food establishments operating within Wadi Al Kabir Industrial City.
The campaign aimed to enhance food safety, ensure a healthy and secure environment, and monitor the extent to which food facilities comply with approved health regulations and standards.
During the two-day drive, officials conducted 58 inspection visits across various food establishments. The inspections resulted in the issuance of 9 violations and 21 warnings against facilities found to be non-compliant with health requirements.

Authorities also ordered the closure of one establishment and issued 13 destruction certificates for meat, poultry, and equipment deemed unfit or non-compliant with approved standards.
