Muscat: During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the longstanding relations of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Norway, while exploring avenues to further enhance collaboration across various sectors in line with shared interests.
The discussions also focused on a number of regional and international developments, with both sides exchanging views on the importance of de-escalation efforts and the need to support political and diplomatic solutions to ongoing challenges. The officials stressed that preserving regional security and stability must be aligned with international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.
In this context, the meeting highlighted developments related to maritime security and freedom of navigation in the region, alongside efforts to secure global supply chains and support the stability of the international economy.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and coordination on issues of mutual concern, while underlining their commitment to promoting peace, security, and stability regionally and globally.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Munther bin Mahfoudh Al-Mundhiri, Head of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ambassador Kabriti Tromstadl, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Sultanate of Oman, along with several officials from both countries.
