Oman oil exports exceed 76 million barrels by end of March 2026

Oman’s oil exports rose to more than 76.8 million barrels by the end of March 2026, marking a 2.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

MUSCAT : According to preliminary data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information, Oman exported 76,852,100 barrels during the first three months of 2026, up from 74,971,500 barrels in the corresponding period of 2025, reflecting steady growth in external shipments despite softer global prices.

Average oil prices declined by 16.5 percent over the same period, falling to $75.3 per barrel compared with 2025 levels, the data showed.

On the production side, Oman recorded a 4.8 percent increase in average daily output, reaching approximately 1.034 million barrels per day by the end of March 2026, up from 986,800 barrels per day a year earlier.

Total oil production also rose 4.8 percent to 93,089,400 barrels during the period, compared with 88,813,000 barrels in the first quarter of 2025, underscoring improved upstream performance.
