MUSCAT : The initiative is part of efforts to enhance digital transformation in the tax system and develop government services.
The system aims to improve the efficiency of processing tax grievances, simplify and streamline procedures in line with digital transformation objectives, enhance oversight mechanisms, improve reporting and statistical outputs, and support accurate decision-making based on reliable data.
It provides a range of electronic services, including the submission of grievance requests, attachment of supporting documents, tracking of application status, and access to decisions issued by the tax grievance committee. It also includes the archiving of applicants’ data and documents.
The launch of the system forms part of the Ministry of Finance’s ongoing efforts to modernise, develop, and automate procedures, strengthen transparency, and enhance the efficiency of managing and processing grievance requests through integrated electronic systems.
