MUSCAT : The meeting discussed ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the private sectors of the Sultanate of Oman and the Pakistan. It brought together business owners and investors from both countries to explore opportunities for expanding bilateral partnerships and increasing trade exchange.
Discussions focused on several key sectors, including food security, agriculture, retail, and import-export activities, highlighting their importance in supporting joint investment and economic collaboration.
Participants also emphasised the critical role of the private sector in advancing economic relations through strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and the exploration of emerging opportunities across various industries.




His Excellency Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of OCCI, stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between business communities in both countries. He noted that Oman offers an attractive investment environment supported by incentives and facilities, alongside efforts to strengthen private sector partnerships and attract foreign investment.
The meeting featured presentations on OCCI’s role in fostering international business relations and enhancing the investment climate, as well as services and initiatives aimed at facilitating business operations. Trade indicators between the two countries were also highlighted.
The Pakistani side presented insights into its rice production sector and the development of value-added products, showcasing opportunities for collaboration in agribusiness.
The event concluded with bilateral meetings between Omani and Pakistani companies to discuss potential partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation, aimed at boosting trade growth and strengthening economic integration between the two countries.
