MUSCAT – The funding round, which signals a strong vote of confidence in Oman’s tech launchpad, was backed by a consortium including His Highness Sayyid Dr. Kamil bin Fahd Al Said and Cyfr Capital, in strategic coordination with the Oman Future Fund.
Launched in 2021 by co-founders Ahmed al Kharusi and Murak al Muairki, Fascano has built a comprehensive cloud-based ecosystem designed to eliminate operational friction for hotels, restaurants, and cafés. The newly secured $10 million is earmarked for a multi-phased growth plan that prioritizes geographic reach, advanced product planning, and the recruitment of specialised talent.
The company’s roadmap for the next 12 to 18 months focuses on stability over rapid burn. According to leadership, the immediate objective is to solidify Fascano’s presence in its current markets by expanding its vendor network before moving into new regional territories where digital demand is peaking.
