MUSCAT – The five-day festival opened under the patronage of Dr. Said Hamed Al Rubai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
The event aims to provide a stimulating environment for discovering and honing talents, promoting a culture of teamwork, and reinforcing the concepts of constructive criticism through accompanying discussion sessions, thereby contributing to raising the quality of student theatrical productions.
The first day of the festival featured the opening of an accompanying exhibition, as well as a critical review session for the first performance. During this session, the artistic and intellectual aspects of the theatrical work were discussed, as part of the festival’s commitment to fostering a culture of theatrical criticism and building an intellectual dialogue that enriches the participants’ artistic experience.
