MUSCAT : The initiative aims to strengthen afforestation efforts and enhance vegetation cover as part of ongoing national programmes to protect and restore natural ecosystems in Oman.
The authority said wadi channels in the area were carefully selected for the project to ensure optimal conditions for plant growth and long-term sustainability, given their suitability for retaining water and supporting native vegetation.
