MUSCAT – In a notice issued, the Ministry said it has monitored content circulated across media platforms – particularly social media and digital channels – including audio and visual materials such as nasheed and musical works that breach the Media Law, its Executive Regulations, and other applicable legislation.
The Ministry stressed the importance of full compliance with legal requirements when producing and publishing such content, noting that the rules apply to materials created either wholly or partially using AI technologies.
