Spanning over 4 million square metres, Raysut Industrial City has achieved an occupancy rate of 97 per cent in developed areas, with expansion plans set to extend its footprint to 5 million square metres in the coming years.
Looking ahead, the city has outlined ambitious targets under the Eleventh Five-Year Development Plan (2026–2030). These include attracting and localising 100 new projects, generating investments worth RO 100 million, and creating around 2,000 job opportunities for Omani citizens. The plan also focuses on strengthening the city’s role as a regional centre for food and pharmaceutical industries while enhancing infrastructure across new expansion zones.
To support this growth, Madayn is currently implementing several infrastructure projects, including water and sewage networks for the second and third phases, alongside studies and master planning for future expansions.
Upcoming approved projects include expanding infrastructure in new zones, establishing the Madayn pioneering complex, and upgrading security systems to accommodate increasing investment demand and boost competitiveness.
Located in the Wilayat of Salalah in Dhofar Governorate, Raysut Industrial City offers direct access to key markets in the Horn of Africa and Asia, as well as proximity to Yemen.
