MUSCAT – His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, at the General Diwan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The discussions focused on expanding partnership opportunities to serve mutual interests and deepen ties between the two countries.
Both sides also reviewed regional developments and reaffirmed their support for de-escalation efforts, emphasising the importance of dialogue, consensus-building, and peaceful solutions to achieve lasting peace and stability.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mandhari, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry, Her Excellency Olga Selykh, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Sultanate of Oman, and several officials from both sides.
