MUSCAT – The inspections, carried out by the Labour Department in Al Buraimi, focused on verifying the integrity of recruitment contracts, adherence to approved templates, and compliance with the provisions of the Labour Law and its implementing regulations.
During the same period, authorities recorded 29 cases of non-compliance with regulatory provisions and took legal action in two cases involving violations of labour laws and related decisions. The ministry also followed up on complaints submitted against recruitment offices and worked to address them promptly.
The Ministry said the campaign forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regulatory oversight, improve service quality, and ensure recruitment offices operate within established legal frameworks. It aims to reduce violations, enhance transparency in recruitment contracts, and promote a more disciplined labour market environment.
According to the Ministry, the intensified inspections have led to improved compliance among recruitment offices, greater awareness of legal obligations, and a decline in violations through faster response to complaints and stricter enforcement measures.
