MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran convened a meeting at the deputy ministers’ level in their respective foreign ministries to discuss measures ensuring the safe and smooth passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz amid current regional developments.
The meeting, attended by specialists from both countries, focused on exploring possible options to maintain maritime security and uninterrupted shipping traffic through this strategic waterway. Experts from Oman and Iran presented a range of proposals and visions aimed at addressing emerging challenges and enhancing cooperation in the region.
