MUSCAT – According to a statement from the CPA, the seized products, valued at approximately RO 180, were confiscated during field inspection visits carried out by judicial enforcement officers from the Consumer Protection Department.
Legal procedures have been initiated against the violators in line with the Consumer Protection Law issued under Royal Decree No. 66/2014 and its implementing regulations.
The authority said the operation forms part of its continued efforts to monitor markets, ensure product quality, and curb the circulation of expired or unsafe goods.
