MUSCAT – In its third official notice, the state-run transport provider confirmed the temporary suspension of multiple city bus services in Muscat, including Route 6 (Al Khoud–Sultan Qaboos University–Al Khoud), Route 7 (Al Mabelah–Al Khoud–Burj Al Sahwa), Route 9 (Al Athaiba–Al Ansab–Misfah Industrial Area), and Route 10 (Al Mabelah–Seeb Souq–Burj Al Sahwa).
Intercity services scheduled for Thursday, March 26, are also affected, with Route 52 (Muscat–Duqm), Route 53 (Muscat–Ibri–Buraimi), and Route 103 (Muscat–Haima–Duqm) suspended until further notice.
Mwasalat said the continuation of both city and intercity services will be assessed based on evolving weather conditions, in coordination with relevant authorities.
Passengers will be notified directly of any further suspensions or operational changes through the company’s contact centre.
Ferry operations on the Shannah–Masirah route will continue as scheduled.
The company urged passengers to stay informed and contact its call centre at 1551 for inquiries.
