MUSCAT : The talks, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Muscat, focused on the repercussions of the conflict on regional security and stability, as well as its effects on international navigation and global energy supplies.
Both sides stressed the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts and advancing dialogue through peaceful and legal channels. They highlighted the need for de-escalation by halting military operations, adhering to principles of international law and international humanitarian law, and respecting the sovereignty of states.
The meeting also underscored the role of diplomacy in resolving crises and achieving sustainable security and stability in the region.
