MUSCAT : In a public advisory, the ROP urged residents to adopt basic safety measures before leaving their homes, including using modern monitoring systems, closing curtains, unplugging electrical appliances, and ensuring doors are securely locked.
The reminder comes as many residents prepare to travel during the holiday period, when unattended homes may be more vulnerable to incidents.
