MUSCAT: Entry to the terminal at Muscat International Airport will now be permitted only for passengers holding a confirmed ticket and within eight hours of their scheduled flight departure, according to a notice issued on Friday.
The announcement, dated March 6, 2026, states that the measure applies to access to the airport terminal and is intended to streamline passenger movement and ensure smoother operations.
Under the guideline, only travellers whose flights are scheduled to depart within eight hours will be allowed inside the terminal premises. Individuals accompanying passengers or arriving significantly earlier than their departure time may not be permitted entry.
