MUSCAT : According to the Civil Aviation Authority, weather forecasts indicate that the Sultanate’s atmosphere will be affected by a trough of low pressure beginning early next week. Meteorological analyses suggest that cloud activity will start developing over the Musandam Governorate from Monday, accompanied by scattered rainfall of varying intensity.
Authorities noted that the rainfall could occasionally be thundery, particularly as the weather system strengthens over the region.
Over the following days, the impact of the weather system is expected to gradually extend to several other governorates. These include North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, and North Al Sharqiyah.
