MUSCAT — Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that a group of Omani citizens had safely returned to the Sultanate under an approved evacuation plan, as authorities press ahead with efforts to bring remaining nationals home.
In a statement, the ministry said the return followed the completion of transfer procedures coordinated as part of ongoing repatriation operations.
It added that efforts were continuing around the clock to facilitate the successive return of other citizens, with priority given to ensuring their safety and security throughout the process.

The announcement indicates that Muscat’s evacuation mission remains active, with additional repatriation movements expected in the coming hours and days.
The ministry did not disclose the number of evacuees in the latest group, their departure point, or the country from which they were repatriated.
