MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to discuss the latest regional military escalation and its broader implications, the Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
According to ONA, the leaders reviewed recent developments and their impact on regional and international security, stability and the safety of nations and their peoples.
They emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to immediately halt the escalation and return to dialogue and diplomatic channels, in order to contain the crisis and strengthen regional and global peace.
