MUSCAT – Oman Air said on Sunday it had cancelled flights to and from several regional destinations due to ongoing airspace closures across parts of the Middle East, as tensions continue to disrupt aviation operations.
In a statement posted on its official account, the national carrier announced that flights scheduled for Sunday, March 1, and Monday, March 2, to and from Amman (AMM), Dubai (DXB), Bahrain (BAH), Doha (DOH), Dammam (DMM) and Kuwait (KWI) have been cancelled.
The airline also confirmed that flights to and from Moscow scheduled to depart on Sunday, March 1, have been cancelled.

Oman Air said all other services are operating as scheduled, though some delays may be expected as a result of the wider regional situation.
“The safety of our guests and crew remains our highest priority,” the airline said, adding that it is closely monitoring developments in coordination with relevant authorities and will continue to provide updates through its official channels and website.
The announcement comes as multiple countries in the region have temporarily closed or restricted their airspace following heightened security concerns, leading to widespread disruptions in commercial aviation.
