MUSCAT : The Port of Duqm came under drone attack by two projectiles, one of which struck mobile workers’ accommodation, injuring a single worker, according to an Omani security source cited by the Oman News Agency (ONA).
The source said the second missile landed near fuel storage tanks in the vicinity of the port, with debris falling in the area. No additional casualties or material damage were reported in that location.
Authorities confirmed that emergency response teams were deployed immediately following the incident and that the injured worker received medical attention. The extent of the worker’s injuries was not immediately disclosed.

In a statement carried by ONA, Oman strongly condemned the targeting of the commercial port, describing it as a serious escalation. The Sultanate affirmed it is taking all necessary measures to address the situation in a manner that preserves the safety and security of the country and those residing within it.
