MUSCAT – The crossing, located in Al Buraimi Governorate, links the Sultanate of Oman with Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, further strengthening connectivity between the two nations.
According to the announcement, the move comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and integration between Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The step is expected to contribute to revitalising the flow of goods, supporting bilateral trade exchange, and facilitating the smooth transit of shipments. The Directorate General of Customs affirmed that operations at the crossing will be conducted under an integrated customs system aligned with best practices and approved procedures.
