MUSCAT – Oman’s national meteorology authority said on Friday that the Sultanate’s weather will be affected by a low-pressure system from Saturday evening through Monday morning, bringing cloud formation and scattered rainfall to parts of the country.
The authority said rainfall is expected mainly over Musandam governorate and the Al Hajar mountain range, as well as neighbouring areas, with a chance that showers could extend to some coastal regions.
It advised residents to remain alert to changing weather conditions during the period, particularly in mountainous areas where rainfall may be locally heavier.
