MUSCAT : The Sultanate of Oman and the European Union held a joint dialogue on human rights in Muscat, with the participation of a number of specialized authorities.
During the session, both sides affirmed their commitment to strengthening joint cooperation in the field of human rights in alignment with international standards and the promotion of the principles of justice and equality.
The Omani side was chaired by Saleh Yahya Al Maskari, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, while the European side was chaired by Anna Maria, Head of the Arabian Peninsula and Iraq Division at the European External Action Service (EEAS).
