MUSCAT – Oman Flour Mills, through Atyab Investments Company, holds a 60 percent stake in Sohar Flour Mills. Over the past two years, the company said it has made extensive efforts, in coordination with other shareholders, to reach an amicable resolution to the dispute in a way that would protect the interests of all parties and ensure the continuity of Sohar Flour Mills’ operations.

However, due to delays in reaching a final agreement among shareholders, Oman Flour Mills decided to pursue judicial liquidation, a process that was initiated in January 2025. A preliminary judgment in the case was issued by the competent court on 25 January 2026, which Oman Flour Mills and the other shareholders are considering appealing.

The company also announced that it will hold a discussion session through the Muscat Stock Exchange to present details and respond to shareholder inquiries, with the date to be announced soon. According to the company’s initial assessment, the dispute is not expected to have any material financial impact on Oman Flour Mills.
