MUSCAT — Fighting Falcons, last season’s runners-up, were crowned champions of the Sea Pride Sur Premier League (SPL) Season 3 after a thrilling victory over Avengers XI in a nail-biting final.
Batting first, Avengers XI were bowled out for 132 runs. In response, Fighting Falcons delivered a composed and dominant chase, reaching the target in just 11.3 overs with five wickets in hand, sealing the title with a convincing five-wicket win.

Season 3 of the Sur Premier League began with a grand player auction, which saw nearly 200 players register, with 160 players selected to form 10 teams. The tournament was preceded by a jersey launch and trophy unveiling, with matches officially commencing on December 5.

Sea Pride Group served as the title sponsor, while Sur Beach Hotel, Asian Paints, and Aswar Sur sponsored the runner-up and second runner-up awards. The Fair Play Award was sponsored by Zaki Restaurant.
Additional supporters included Badr Al Sama, Al Fouz Hypermarket, Athar Al Madeenah Group, Power Gym, Abu Al Yakeen Al Mukhaimi Trad, Afnan Majan Hypermarket, Amir Babar, Al Mahra Mart, Emaad Trends, Al Faisal Polyclinic, and Arabian Sur Travels.

Trophies and awards were presented by Jacob Job, Salim Abdullah Khamis Al Farsi of Sea Pride Group, Badr Al Hasmi from the Ministry of Sports, Anoop from Sur Beach Hotel, Rabeesh and Sreekanth representing Asian Paints and Aswar Sur, and Saleem from Zaki Restaurant, along with other distinguished guests.
During the closing ceremony, the organising committee also announced that Sur Premier League Season 4 is scheduled to commence in December 2026.
