ABU DHABI : The meeting was chaired by HE Sheikh Khalid bin Hashel Al Muslahi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, on the Omani side, and HE Omar bin Obaid Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the UAE side.
Discussions focused on enhancing consular cooperation and reviewing ways to further develop joint efforts. The two sides also examined mechanisms to follow up on the implementation of shared initiatives, in line with their aspirations to upgrade consular services and deliver them efficiently and effectively.
Both delegations stressed the importance of continued coordination, regular consultation, and the exchange of expertise, noting that such cooperation would enhance the efficiency of consular work and ensure high-quality services that meet the needs of citizens in both countries.
