MUSCAT – According to Oman Meteorology, satellite imagery captured at 10:15 am on January 26, 2026, showed continued cloud development, with indications of further scattered rainfall over parts of the Sea of Oman coastal areas in the coming period.
Weather forecast for the day also showcloud advection over the northern governorates with chances of isolated rain over Musandam, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, and parts of Al Hajar mountains
The forecast also indicates chances of late night/early morning low clouds over parts of Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
