MUSCAT : According to the ROP’s, Public Relations and Security Media Department, the closures will be in effect from 6 am to 12 pm along the marathon route. The race will start at Al Khuwair Square, passing over the bridge leading to Al Khuwair, then continuing along Ministries Street toward Qurum Beach. The route will pass near the Children’s Cultural Center and the Omani Women’s Association before entering the internal roads of Qurum Park.
The marathon will then exit Qurum Park through its main gate onto the main road, proceed to Qurum Park Roundabout, the Qurum Commercial Area, Saih Al Malih Street, and the Crowne Plaza Roundabout.
The route will continue along Qurum Beach to Al Sarouj Street, passing the Muscat Waterfront and Al Sahwa Schools, before returning to the Bausher Center intersection. From there, it will proceed along Ministries Street, 18 November Street, and Al Ghubra traffic lights, before returning to the coastal road at Al Ghubra Beach. The race will conclude at Al Khuwair Square.
