MUSCAT : The announcement came following a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2026 between His Excellency Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Head of the Omani delegation, and Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
The discussions focused on enhancing trade exchange between Oman and India, leveraging recently signed bilateral agreements, and exploring opportunities to improve trade flow efficiency. Both sides also examined ways to broaden areas of joint investment and strengthen logistics and maritime connectivity.
Key topics included utilising Omani ports as strategic gateways along maritime routes to European markets and supporting international supply chains, thereby reinforcing Oman’s role as a regional logistics hub linking Asia and Europe.
